Gamma Like Very Ultra formed in Tucson Arizona early 2006 by founding members Joseph Delarosa and Christine Heinisch. The duo began as a Found Sound, Electronic Noise and Live instrument collage project. Joe is a bass player, tape noise collage artist, from Tucson Arizona. Christine, formerly of the pioneering dark cabaret / chamber punk band apartment aka apartment burlesque orchestra, is an electronic musician, Trumpeter and Keyboardist from Chicago, Illinois. Since its inception, Delarosa and Heinisch have turned their collage work into a live experimental, avant-rock band with nods to their various popular influences. Ariella Lake (apartment), composer / guitarist, long time friend and collaborator joined in late 2007.
