The Idiot returns to his pain cave and wonders why he doesn’t have a wife, "other fellershh shheem to have ’em", he says to himself. He lives in his parent’s basement, with his twin brother (born 1 year after), who worships him because he leaves the basement to play bass in a real band (Gamma Like Very Ultra), versus the twin, who can’t seem to leave the fantasy world of video games and comic books. The Idiot wants nothing more than someone to take care of him, make dinner and perhaps hold his hand. He has his eye on Rabbit, the guitar player, but that darn dog of her’s Baxter, keeps getting in the way. He once felt like he cared about Chris, the keyboard player, but didn’t understand that you don’t leave 100 messages on someone’s answering machine within an hour. The Idiot has a strange feeling about the band’s new manager, Otto Spielmann, who seems as if he is trying to harm him in some way. He is also haunted by engineer/producer Galen Macgillicutty, who is pushing him to play the ultimate chord. It seems as though that along with Baxter, Otto is in league with Satan and the underworld.

The Day the Earth Farted

Hello and good afternoon.  It’s a blustery and sun drenched day out here in the desert.  The birds are singing and fluttering through the air.  I have never seen the sky as blue as it is today dotted with puffy marsh-mellow like clouds.  Too bad I’m stuck here at work feeling like crap.  If only I felt better.  If only I could experience this wonderful day in the fullest.  Such a lovely day like this reminds me of the continuing epic journey through ”Adventureland: An Assortment of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables”.  What’s that you ask?  Well my friends, that’s our first album.  It’s mixture of songs and avant silliness that should offer a brief glimpse into our noodles.  But, it is still a work in progress with four songs in various stages of completion and four others in demo form.  What most folks don’t realize is how long it takes to record music on your own, I know I’m certainly one of them.  All the mixing, editing, and overdubbing is quite a handful and not to mention actually recording the backing tracks.  But, I’m glad to say that two only lack their final vocal parts and the two others only need to be edited and mixed.  This time around we will have a finished piece of work which I think will be weird, fun, and in a strange way beautiful…just like the lovely day outside my dirty window.  It has certainly been an adventure.  I’ll talk to you soon.

I’m going to blow up all stereotypical notions you’ve ever had of Punky Brewster. Punky is not what she appears to be on television. She is a living breathing human. She is not a doll, nor is she your roll model.

Alright, I was set to make fun of Punky, but now when I look at the above video with Andy Gibb singing that sweet sweet song, I’m kind of touched. This is especially when I think about Andy and his early passing. This in turn makes me think of Barry Gibb and my lifetime obsession with his hair and how if I were a man I’d probably wants to be Barry Gibb….

So it’s a rare day here in Ye Olde Tucson…it’s cloudy. Clouds make it possible to actually enjoy a day sans a working cooling unit. This is especially true with swamp coolers man, sheesh it was like 90 in here, my beat up house, yesterday. Anyway, so yeah here I am listening to Fats Domino and eating string cheese wondering about the weather and if this string cheese is still good. It kind of tastes bitter. Damn the Sun is starting to peak out, fuck. It’s windy as hell too so my allergies are going to kick up. Shit I’m late for work.
